This tutorial is a good explanation of how to setup Sun's VirtualBox for OpenSuse 11.1. OpenSuse is one of the world's most popular distributions, now well supported through Novell who also sell commercial versions for both server & desktop use. VirtualBox is a free virtualisation package allowing guest operating systems to be installed on your computer. This tutorial explains both the basic installation of VirtualBox, as well as permission setup for non root access and setting up things like USB support.
